Create Foodbank’s state corporate headquarters and distribution centre of 2800m² of corporate offices and 3700m² of warehouse respectively.
CHALLENGE:

Acoustic challenges with site located within 50 metres of the proposed third runway of the international airport.

Design the project to stringent design criteria but also to allow maximum flexibility for growth within office and production.

Dealing with and segregating various user groups.
SOLVE:

Working closely with the fire engineer and certifier, tactical design removed fire sprinklers over highbays, offering a saving of over $500,000 to the bottom line.

New innovations in design such as training kitchens and segregated work spaces.

Work flow of production routes, freezers and coolrooms reviewed for efficiency.
