IMAGINE: 

• To create a memorable, unique and modern dental facility in a relatively rural area of Victoria.

 

CHALLENGE:

• Some neighbouring residential unrest to bright contemporary form for proposed dental clinic.

• An oversized site was a challenge in deciding the best use of the space to satisfy all parties.

 

SOLVE:

• The large site allowed the building to be set back significantly from the street front which resolved any issues of the modern design not tying into the surrounding residential streetscape.

• Use of coloured glass, bright cladding as well as a unique take on a pitched roof delivered a pleasing design result that will still be contemporary for years to come.

• Consulting rooms angled to provide private views to  Japanese garden.
